I heard you were putting a team together! I’m Temte Mapleleaf, and I want in!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Temte Mapleleaf, officially known as FemaleTemplate_Raposa, is a Raposa created by GuyThatExists that appears in the short stories Heather Dating Sim as the catalyst for the story and Blank Slates 3 as a main character, and she appears in the one-shot Heather Dating Sim Prelude as the main character.

After being brought to life in The Void, she tried to join the Tree King's group, but was rejected and eventually moved to the Void Outskirts. She returned around the time Tombstone was killed, and she took on Willham's powers in an attempt to find her friend Alme. However, this also caused her to be merged with Mayo, becoming the Master of the Abyss, destroying The Void and creating The Abyss, and displacing many residents of many universes. However, thanks to your compassion, she was able to overpower Mayo and regain control of her body. She briefly returns to The Void in the past, only to leave and work to return everyone she displaced to their original homes.

She would later be called back to The Void to help fight against Tombstone, as her abilities were thought to be the one thing that could rival the Shadow monster. She arrived and helped fight against Goldie and the undead Droogle army, then returned to the Guardians' HQ, where she would begin fighting Tombstone's final form. During the fight, she began teleporting the other fighters across the universe to keep them safe, until the only fighters left were her and the Tree King. The two of them, now in their most powerful forms, defeated Tombstone with the power of God Rays, but The Void was not salvageable. Back on the ground, Temte would meet Warrior, awoken from Tombstone's defeat, and the two of them began searching for the other fighters.

TowerIcon.png Appearance[edit]

Temte Mapleleaf is a colorless Raposa that resembles Heather's Wii design. She has multiple, overlapping eyes, and has multiple blocks protruding from her head and face. She also carries a colorless croquet mallet.

Book Icon.png Story[edit]

Early Life[edit]

Temte was created as a base for other Raposa models in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), and was brought to life in The Void after Shadow Mari's attack. She moved into the Template House in the Wii Village with Alme Palmette and Heathers. Some time later, Heathers would move out to find love, and Temte would hear about the Tree King attempting to form a militia.

Heather Dating Sim Prelude[edit]

When the Tree King is recruiting for his group, Temte teleports in front of him and asks to join his team. However, he rejects her because she doesn't have many useful abilities. This makes Temte upset, and she returns home to Alme, who convinces her to go on an adventure to the edge of The Void. During their trip, they watched as the whiteness of The Void slowly faded out, revealing a shimmering, dark sky.

Years later, Alme and Temte notices bursts of light appearing in the villages on the horizon. The two of them decide to head back to the village to see what's happening, and they race to their old house. Alme takes the lead in the final stretch, so Temte uses her power to teleport in front of him and win the race. However, when he tries to give her a hard time, he is enveloped in the same light they noticed, and he vanishes. Alme is confused, and assumes that Alme had simply glitched somewhere else, so she goes to find him. However, she is suddenly enveloped by the light but glitches it off of her. Realizing that Alme may be truly gone, she runs to the Guardians' HQ.

At the HQ, she finds Willham, who is surprised to see that she is alive. After discussing their circumstances, Willham asks her to take over his role as a screener, allowing him to die since all of his friends were gone. Temte agrees and Willham sends his smoke into her body. Suddenly, Mayo calls out to Temte, compelling her to crush Willham's glasses. She refuses, but Mayo eventually gets louder, drowning out her own thoughts. She crushes the glasses watches as the landscapes and villages in the void disappear.

After a moment, Mayo calls out to her again, compelling her to delete the void itself in an attempt to see her friends again. She initially refuses, but Mayo screams once more, so she begins to send her smoke throughout the void, erasing the ground, buildings, and sky, leaving only a small landmass under her feet and officially creating The Abyss. After jumping off the land, Temte collides with an invisible wall at the bottom of the void, revealing a yellow light. With Mayo's urging, Temte begins to smash the invisible wall with her mallet, revealing more and more pockets of light.

She eventually hits a crack twice, shattering the void, creating the first Abyssal Rift, and dropping her into a Rapoville. After Temte goes on her own journey to try and find Alme, Mayo convinces her to give up control of her body, forming the Master of the Abyss.

Heather Dating Sim[edit]

Mayo continued to make cracks in the abyss, dragging multiple people from other universes into the Drawn to Life universes, including you, sending you into Belleview. However, Mayo does not appear to you until after you leave Belleview and survive Rapoville.

Canon Path[edit]

The Master continues to create more and more rifts in the abyss while you go on your journey. As you leave Rapoville through a rift, the Master confronts you, telling you not show up in the abyss again, as you do not belong. However, when you arrive in the void, and a rift opens, the Master recognizes Willham, and Willham recognizes the Master as Mayo. The two of them engage in a fight that ends with you jumping onto and attacking the Master alongside Willham. The Master also notices the Four Guardians and the Mayors of each void village coming to fight, so she calls off her attack, dragging you into the abyss with her.

The Master once again berates you for interfering with her plans, and she tosses you around the abyss until throwing you through yet another rift, landing you in Plushview. As the Master opened more and more cracks, Temte managed to grab Alme Palmette from the void, crashing him into both you and Pleather. The Master notices the three of you careening through the abyss, but is unable to do anything to you, as you crash into Roboville.

Now, the Master knows that her plan may be in jeopardy, so she begins to make more and more cracks as fast as possible throughout the abyss. This eventually leads to Willham making contact with her once again. These new rifts also allow you and Alme to make contact with her, and the three of you begin to fight the Master. The Master berates the three of you for thinking you could stop her, so she kidnaps the five Heathers you've encountered so far, forcing them to play a game for your life.

However, because of your compassion, Temte refuses to let Mayo destroy the universes, and her control of the body increases more and more with every Heather you've been kind to, and every minute detail you remember about them. In a fit of rage, the Master gives you an unanswerable question, but due to interference from Q-Heather, you are able to answer it correctly. This sends the Mayo into a blind rage, and she begins to attack you. However, the combined efforts of Willham and Alme incapacitate her, allowing Temte to wrestle for control of the body. Mayo and Temte eventually reach a stalemate in their battle, but when Alme gives Temte words of encouragement, Temte is able to completely regain control of the body, trapping Mayo inside her for good.

The group of you all return to Roboville, and Temte gives her thanks to everyone involved in taking down the Master. After Q-Heather presents the Abyssal Energy to the group, you decide to spend the rest of your day with Temte, so The Engineer give you canisters of energy to travel to the void. However, Willham, Temte, and Alme use the Wishing Well to return home. When you arrive at the void, Willham tells you that if you need anything done, go to the Guardians' HQ, and you follow Temte into her house with Alme and Heathers.

Temte confesses to you that she hasn't felt loved by an outside source before, and you tell her you do love her, but you need to go back to your realm. She agrees and offers to guide you back to your realm through the abyss. Before you can leave, Willham stops you and wishes you well. You and Temte both travel through the abyss, using up the rest of your energy to make it back to your room. The two of you spend some time talking about the Master. Temte ends up resolving to fix everything the Master did, and she begins by returning a dog to your universe.

Non-Canon Paths[edit]

  • Should you die at any point, the Master's plan to eradicate the universes is successful.
    • This is subverted in Life In The Void and Nomad.
  • If you have sex with Heathers and refuse to comfort her, you can escape the void and meet Temte and Alme in their shack.
    • Temte will quickly teleport you back to The Void after you tell her your situation, and this cuts the Master's plan short by preventing her existence in the first place.
  • If Q-Heather is not created, Willham will kill Temte before you can enter The Abyss. However, Mayo's plan will still be enacted, as most of the cracks were already made.
  • If Willham kills Temte after you and Alme join him in The Abyss, Mayo's plan is stopped.
  • If you are rated poorly by a Heather, or if you answer one of the Master's questions wrong, Temte will relinquish control, and Mayo's plan will be enacted.
  • If you hold back Alme from helping during the stalemate, Willham will accidentally delete him, allowing Mayo to take control once again and enact her plan.
  • If you choose to spend the rest of your day or your life with Heathers, Temte will join in on the group conversation.
  • If you choose to spend the rest of your life with Temte, she will not try to help the displaced peoples.

Blank Slates 3[edit]

Temte is next seen in Belle's Depot, where she is helping Heateo. Q-Heather suddenly appears in front of her and tells her that Alme needed her help fighting off something in The Void. Temte wished Heateo goodbye and returns to The Void with Q-Heather, the two of them arriving at Alme's location - underneath the Drawn to Life Village in Warrior's Castle. They both immediatley jump into the current fight between Goldie's undead Droogle army and the combined forces of Alme, Heathers, Jinxy, and the Four Guardians. During the fight, Temte taps into some of her dormant Master abilities, helping defeat the Droogles, and the group returns to the Guardians' HQ.

Back at the HQ, Temte finds the Tree King arguing with Cecil's Militia, the current Droogle Army, and Crawler's LARPing Group all arguing. Suddenly, Tombstone's attack on the Two Realms Plains succeeds, and Temte corrals everyone together. Shortly after, Willham and the others from the Plains return to HQ, completing the final group of fighters in The Void. After Willham teaches the new Guardians how to control their abilities, Temte alerts them to the undead Red Dragon and Drakon appearing from the other bubbles in The Void.

When the group of fighters confronted Tombstone outside the HQ, Temte stayed with the group fighting Tombstone's main body. During the fight, Willham pulled Temte inside and asked her to turn into the Master of the Abyss once more, but she refused, not wanting Mayo to come forward anymore. Back in the fray, Tombstone began attempting to absorb the fighters, forcing the others to stop fighting and try to rescue their friends. During one of these attacks, Alme is nearly absorbed, and in a panic, Temte teleports him away, not knowing exactly where she sent him to, but knowing he was safe. As Tombstone continued to use this strategy of absorbing fighters, Temte decided to transform back into the Master. However, before she did, she teleported the rest of the fighters, minus the Guardians, the screeners, and the Tree King, out of The Void.

Certain that no one else was in harms way, Temte unleashed the Master, now matching Tombstone's size. She evacuated the Guardians and Shadow Mari out of The Void and continued to fight with the Tree King until Tombstone managed to trap the two of them inside buildings. When the Master breaks out, she finds the Tree King being absorbed by Tombstone. In a last resort, the Tree King passes the Master his God Ray crown, allowing her to fully overpower Tombstone and teleport the rest of The Void's buildings out of Tombstone's grasp. After defeating Tombstone with a massive burst of energy, the Master passes out and turns back into Temte, who crashes to the ground next to the God Ray crown and the final piece of Tombstone, a possessed, undead Tomohawk. Using the crown, Temte kills Tombstone for good.

As she watches the buildings around her continue to disappear, she suddenly remembers what she saw earlier in her life and realizes that her past self was about to arrive at the village. She leaves to watch herself appear, but quickly returns to find an awake Warrior searching for her. When he finds her, he asks if they could bring everyone back to The Void, and Temte tells him that they probably could by traveling through the The Abyss, a lie. Believing the lie, Warrior and Temte jump into an Abyssal Rift, leaving The Void.

Quote Icon.png Quotes[edit]

Hey, this is just what I look like, no shame to me!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Well, I can also glitch, but I can't really control when it happens.

–Temte Mapleleaf

It just keeps happening. I try to make some friends and they just throw me aside. This time, they didn’t even care about all this.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Aw, c’mon! We’ve been here for so long and neither of us have gotten anything but hatred! Let’s go out, away from all this, and see what we can find!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Don’t just stand there; pack a bag! I’m not gonna leave without you, but I’m definitely gonna leave!

–Temte Mapleleaf

I wonder if we’re the first people to travel this far out.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Who knows what’s all the way out here! The void could wrap back around itself, or if we’re lucky, we’ll discover a whole new realm!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Depends. Can we come back after we’re done taking a look?

–Temte Mapleleaf

He must’ve figured out a way to get to the other side!

–Temte Mapleleaf

No no no, I can’t do this without him.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Alive?! What do you mean alive?

–Temte Mapleleaf

So they’re not coming back. Ever.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Whoever’s there, I promise, I’ll erase you!

–Temte Mapleleaf

What the hell are you?

–Temte Mapleleaf

Alme is dead, just like Willham said. We can’t bring him back.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Willham only gave me his powers, and I can’t rip time by erasing something.

–Temte Mapleleaf

I can’t do that! This is the only home I have left, if I erase it then–

–Temte Mapleleaf

It’s me Alme. I won!

–Temte Mapleleaf

GOD it feels so good to be out of that mess!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Y/n, you have no idea how much I want to thank you for saving me. I quite literally can’t tell you how indebted I am to you.

–Temte Mapleleaf

You have some guts calling the Master’s bluff like you did.

–Temte Mapleleaf

There you are! What took you so long?

–Temte Mapleleaf

So, welcome back to the void! Anything you’re dying to know about?

–Temte Mapleleaf

I wish I could tell you more, but I’m afraid I’ve only ever lived in the Wii Village.

–Temte Mapleleaf

O-oh! Yeah, I could… I could bring you to… to uhhh… to…

–Temte Mapleleaf

Sorry! Yeah, I-I’m okay. So, this is a first for both of us, huh?

–Temte Mapleleaf

Well y’know. You here, and me over here, and Alme out there… I honestly don’t know, y/n. It’s just, no one’s ever shown any interest in me before outside of Alme and Heathers.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Yeah? Lost in thought all of a sudden? What’s goin’ on up there?

–Temte Mapleleaf

I understand. If it’s worth anything, I can at least come into the abyss and help you look for your crack. It’s only fair considering I pulled you from it in the first place.

–Temte Mapleleaf

I could’ve told you that. I remember exactly how I made the abyss.

–Temte Mapleleaf

I don’t want to explain it now, but you’re right. The void has the ability to reach other universes, just not in this state – it needed some breaking first – but all of that is beside the point. We need to get y/n back home.

–Temte Mapleleaf

This is a nice room y/n. It suits you well.

–Temte Mapleleaf

That’s a good question, and one I don’t exactly have a good answer for. After I made my journey through some of the realms – Roboville, Belleview-V, even a Spongebob universe – I settled down in the center of the abyss. I couldn’t find a crack leading back to the void anywhere. This voice in my head started to tempt me with ideas that I honestly couldn’t resist.

–Temte Mapleleaf

I had left myself alone because of everything I did. At that point, I just stopped thinking. That’s when Mayo started to take over my body, and that’s when the Master was really born. I was able to perceive everything she did in my body – I was even able to stop her from doing some things – but I couldn’t shackle her down like I’m doing now.

–Temte Mapleleaf

To be honest with you, I don’t know who you’re a variant of, but Mayo must’ve thought you were important, because you’re the only person she messed with. Tons of people got displaced during her whole ordeal to merge the multiverse or whatever, but you’re the only one who’s been able to make it home…

–Temte Mapleleaf

I know what I’m going to do. I think I’m going to make a trip through the multiverse and find out where everyone else ended up. It shouldn’t be too difficult, I know where everyone was taken from and where they went, but maybe if I do that, I can finally lay all my guilt to rest.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Yeah… That’s what I’m gonna do…

–Temte Mapleleaf

I promise y/n. Now get some good sleep. You might need it!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Hey, how’d you get out here?

–Temte Mapleleaf

No, it’s some human that I don’t recognize!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Never heard of you. Come on in!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Hey, hop on my back! I’ll show you how to really get there quick!

–Temte Mapleleaf

I can teleport silly! We both can!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Yeah, y/n here came and found us! They told us everything that happened, so we came as fast as we could!

–Temte Mapleleaf

We’re all gonna miss you y’know. You’ve been a really big help to the void.

–Temte Mapleleaf

I know it doesn’t seem like a lot, but all of this is kind of my fault.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Besides, there’s no real reason you should’ve been taken in the first place. Sorry about that again. No idea what she was thinking.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Y-Yeah. You can… you can sleep with me, only if you want though; it’s okay if you don’t!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Not like this. I mean, Alme and Heathers sometimes hang out in here, but I’ve never had a partner before you. If that’s what you want this to be I mean! I don’t want to push anything onto you!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Good night, y/n. I hope you’re still here in the morning.

–Temte Mapleleaf

I knew it! They left. I knew it was too good to be– You stayed!

–Temte Mapleleaf

F-for what it’s worth y/n… I… I do love you.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Oh my god! Which one of you did this!?

–Temte Mapleleaf

I swear if I ever find out which one of you this was, you’re dead! What if they had said they weren’t interested? What if they didn’t stay over?

–Temte Mapleleaf

Q? What are you doing here?

–Temte Mapleleaf

Alright, let’s go. I’ll come back for you later Heateo!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Any idea what’s going on there?

–Temte Mapleleaf

Then we better prepare for a fight.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Alme, what’s going on here?

–Temte Mapleleaf

I’ll need you to fill in a lot of gaps for me later, but I think I can work with that. Which one’s in charge of this army?

–Temte Mapleleaf

I wish it worked like that. The closest link between here and HQ through the Abyss is a few hours longer than it would take to walk there.

–Temte Mapleleaf

So, while we walk back to the HQ, I think you guys need to tell me a story. Don’t leave out any details.

–Temte Mapleleaf

This feelings jam is really nice and all. But I think we have a bigger problem on our hands.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Hey guys! We have a problem out here!

–Temte Mapleleaf

What’s up? You got a plan?

–Temte Mapleleaf

I can, but I don’t think I will. Mayo’s still inside me, and frankly, I don’t trust her to work in The Void’s best interest. Maybe as a last resort.

–Temte Mapleleaf

I… I don’t know. Safe for sure, but I don’t know where.

–Temte Mapleleaf

God dammit! Good luck, wherever you end up!

–Temte Mapleleaf

For The Void.

–Temte Mapleleaf

If you so much as think about breaking into The Abyss, I’ll take us both out.

–Temte Mapleleaf

I don’t believe you.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Oh, hey! You’re awake!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Well, it was a very long and very hard fight, but everyone’s safe.

–Temte Mapleleaf

Oh… yeah! Uh, we can! Probably. We probably can.

–Temte Mapleleaf

I don’t actually know, but I’m sure we can find them! Wherever they ended up, we can travel across the multiverse to find them!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Well, who knows, but we can always come back to this point in time!

–Temte Mapleleaf

How about we go find them together! We’ll go through the Abyss, figure out where they are, and then we can bring them all here!

–Temte Mapleleaf

Alive?! What do you mean still alive?

–Temte's Past Self

Was it the Tree King and his groupies?

–Temte's Past Self

So they’re not coming back. Ever.

–Temte's Past Self

What’re you getting at?

–Temte's Past Self

Alright. I think I could do that.

–Temte's Past Self

What happened there?

–Temte's Past Self

As ready as I’ll ever be.

–Temte's Past Self

Who was that?

–Temte's Past Self

Whoever’s there, I promise, I’ll erase you!

–Temte's Past Self

What the hell are you?

–Temte's Past Self

Alme is dead, just like Willham said. We can’t bring him back.

–Temte's Past Self

I can't do that. Willham only gave me his powers, and I can’t rip time by erasing something.

–Temte's Past Self

I can’t do that! This is the only home I have left, if I erase it then–
