Mizu's Trident is an item adapted by GuyThatExists that appears in the short stories Blank Slates 2 and Blank Slates 3. Previously trapped inside Squid's stomach, after Squid's defeat, it was taken by Lambert, who wielded it while a member of the Four Guardians. After Tombstone killed Lambert, it used the trident in a fight against Gingerfre, who escaped the fight with it. Eventually, Gingerfre gives the trident to Stocking as a show of goodwill.
Appearance[edit]
Mizu's Trident has very little detail and is simply a purple trident.
Story[edit]
Blank Slates 2[edit]
For an unknown amount of time, the trident was sealed inside of Squid's stomach. However, after Squid was killed by the Four Guardians, the trident shot into the house that Lambert, Fiora, Nolan, Rocko, and Fox were hiding in. Lambert picked up the trident and was given water-based abilities. Lambert then went out to help the Guardians fight the Tree King and the Jungle Creature, becoming a Guardian himself.
Lambert would go on to use the trident in his fights against the Jungle Creature's fragments, including the Shadow Squid, Sandal, and a reincarnated Tree King. After these battles, Lambert kept the trident in his house, ready to use it whenever he's needed.
Blank Slates 3[edit]
Two years later, Lambert continues to use the trident as a member of the Four Guardians, and he fights with it in the Drawn to Life Village and Shadow Village, though after his death in the Shadow Village, Tombstone is able to take the trident for itself. After the fight, when Gingerfre returns to the village, Tombstone fights him with all of its thralls, including Lambert and the trident. During the fight, Gingerfre is able to steal the trident for himself and leaves.
Later, Gingerfre uses the trident to fight the reanimated body of Red Dragon, using its water abilities to counteract her fire abilities. After the fight, he gifts the trident to Stocking after he reveals the two to be psychically linked. When Temte Mapleleaf sends the fighters into canon, the trident travels with Stocking to Watersong, where he presumably uses it to fight Colepere.
Trivia[edit]
- Mizu's Trident is never explicitly named in Blank Slates 2.
