Teleal Helison is a Raposa created by GuyThatExists that appears in the short story Bavel's Diary as a minor character. She was one of Eugene Shinar's loudest supporters and came to Rapoville with him. She is notable for being one of the first villagers to accept the Creator and for attempting to marry into Bavel's family.

Story

Before Bavel's Diary

Some time before the beginning of Bavel's Diary, Teleal met Eugene Shinar and became a part of his group that eventually colonized Rapoville.

Bavel's Diary

Bavel first mentions Teleal after he declared his belief in the Creator to the village. However, his wife Peliossa believes that Teleal is simply showing support in an attempt to wed Tegean, Bavel's daughter. Later on, Teleal would help Peliossa spread the word of the Creator, but with little success. Throughout the next year, Teleal would continue to inch into Tegean's life, despite Tegean's protesting, so Bavel uses the Book of Imagination on her, which dissuades her from continuing her plot.

After Bavel's Diary

An unknown amount of time later, Teleal would pass away. It is unknown where her spirit went after death. According to Mari's footnotes in her transcription of Bavel's Diary, she deduces that Teleal is an ancestor of Jowee.

–Level Description

Teleal's Imagination Battle in Bavel's Diary is named Digging for Gold. It is the fifth Imagination Battle that Bavel traverses in the story and has three segments. After quieting Sandy, Bavel has the idea to use the Book of Imagination to keep Teleal away from his daughter, Tegean.

• Teleal's name is derived from Shealtiel, a king-in-exile mentioned in the Genealogy of Jesus.
  • Teleal's surname, Helison, is derived from Heli, Jesus' grandfather in the Gospel of Luke.
• As a part of drafting Bavel's Diary, GuyThatExists created "Tilash Helison", meant to be Teleal's daughter and an eventual spouse to Tegean, but she was removed due to going against the Book of Imagination's effects on Teleal's mind.
