–Monkey King's Son
The Monkey King's Son is a character that appears in In The Treetop Village and Salem Rose Pt. 1 as a minor character.
Appearance
The Monkey King's Son takes the appearance as a normal monkey, yet much smaller, being shorter that a Raposa. It is unknown what he looks like as an adult, but it can be assumed that he bears resemblance to his father.
Story
In The Treetop Village
The Monkey King's Son is first seen when Zsasha infiltrates the Treetop Village looking for the Crystal Mask. As a troupe of Monkeys carry him up to the Monkey King, Zsasha overhears the Monkey King telling his son that he promises to find some friends for his son in Rapoville. When the Monkeys arrive at the top of the tower, the Monkey King's Son is distracted by the shield Zsasha was carrying.
Just as he touches the shield, Circi appears in the room in her Shadow form, scaring the other monkeys, who curse the Monkey King's Son for bringing bad luck. The Monkey King's Son runs behind a pile of boxes, the same place Zsasha was hiding, as Circi and the Monkey King fight over the Crystal Mask. Eventually, Circi spots the Monkey King's Son and kidnaps him, using him as a hostage for the Crystal Mask. The Monkey King agrees to give it to her if she returns his son, so she sets the Monkey King's Son down. Just then, Zsasha pushes Circi over the edge of the tower and tells the Monkey King's Son to run through the World Gate. He obliges and runs through the gate to Rapoville, hiding in Zsahsa's abandoned house.
Salem Rose Pt. 1
The Monkey King's Son, now known as the Monkey King, appears in 2042 at the Creator's Alliance meeting, not understanding why Mari was keeping Wilfre in Rapoville without punishment. By the end of the meeting, the Monkey King is one of the mayors who did not pull out of the alliance.
