Appearance
Stampy is an orange-furred Raposa and has a brown beard. He almost always wears a yellow-tinted chef's hat and has a pair of teal goggles on his head. He wears a yellow scarf around his neck, and his clothes consist of a pair of teal overalls and a red undershirt. He also has a grey monocle over his left eye.
Story
Moving to Rapoville
Stampy is first introduced in Inky Resentment as Isaac's old college roommate. Stampy moved to Rapoville after the events of Drawn to Life, landing a job with Isaac at his shop making supply runs. One day, Isaac asks Stampy to go to Shadow City and collect parts from the now-defunct Ink Factory. Stampy accepts the task for double pay and leaves for the Shadow City Gate where he is stopped by Percate. Percate refuses to let him into the City without a guide, fearing for his life, so she allows Circi to go with him.
Corruption
Once the two are inside Shadow City, Circi asks him where he plans on going. Stampy explains that he is on a supply run for Isaac, telling her that he plans to take from the Factory. Circi gets angry at Stampy for jeopardizing her secret, so she forces him onto a wall, turning him into an Ink version of himself. She decided to tear his body apart, turning him into a set of 10 Stamps, sending him throughout Jangala, Shadow City, Icy Wastes, and Eastern Winds.
4 months later, the Hero collects the 10 stamps and puts them together in Isaac's Shop. Stampy is pulled out of his Ink form, and he tells his story to the two. He leaves out any details of Circi and learns that she told the village that he was attacked by a Shadow Ghoul. As he finishes his recap, he catches Circi's eyes and gets startled by her. Isaac asks him how he can help, and Stampy asks for his double pay, causing the two to laugh.
Meeting Milfre
Stampy is seen again when Milfre appears in Wilfre's Wasteland from the future. As he goes to work that morning, he flattens himself on the wall do the shop as a joke for Cindi. As she and her mother leave, Isaac informs him that activity was spotted and asks him to do recon and possibly do a supply run if he sees anything cool. Stampy agrees to the job opportunity, grabbing his things and sneaking on board Pirate Beard's ship and taking a nap as they sail.
Stampy wakes up right as Milfre is about to leave for her own time, and he runs towards the action. Still in his stamped form, Stampy trips over something and falls into the Time Machine. When Milfre steps in the machine and inputs her coordinates for Deadwood in 2042, but Stampy unstamps himself, knocking her location to Kamalah's Lab instead. Milfre threatens him with her Pen, scaring Stampy and causing him to beg to go home. Milfre feels bad for him and helps him to his feet. As Stampy stands up, he accidentally bumps into her chest, causing the two of them to become flustered.
Stampy asks Milfre to help him with his supply run and asks her to lunch, and she promises to have a meal with him after she meets back up with Salem Rose. Stampy flattens himself back onto the time machine and Milfre takes the two of them to Deadwood. As Milfre confronts Salem Rose, Stampy drifts back to sleep. Eventually, Milfre's time machine is destroyed alongside Deadwood.
Building the Robosa Suit
Stampy is first seen trying to crawl out of the destroyed Deadwood. Eventually, he falls unconscious and is saved by Robigo, who takes him to Lavasteam. She leaves him in Lock's care. While unconscious, Stampy phases in between his Raposa and Stamped forms. He does this more and more rapidly as he begins to wake up, and he bolts upright after some time. Lock asks him why he is able to phase into objects, and Stampy, still annoyed and confused, simply states that it's magic. Lock doesn't press him, and simply asks for Stampy's name. After Stampy is fully aware of his surroundings, Stampy and Lock make an agreement to help each other with their projects, Stampy's being control of his powers.
Eventually, Lock and Stampy agree that the Robosa Suit could be best powered with Stampy's Ink, so Lock helps Stampy control his powers. Using a garden hose as a metaphor, Lock explains to Stampy how to shoot Ink from his body. Stampy successfully shoots Ink and sucks it back in, exciting both Lock and himself. Stampy uses his new ability to send Ink through the mechanisms of the Robosa Suit, causing it to function properly. While the two put finishing touches on the machine, they talk about how they are technically superheroes, and they decide to adopt the identities of Ink Torpedo and The Mechanic.
Their conversation eventually shifts to how well the Ink in working on the suit, so Lock explains that when Wilfre attacked the village, he likely changed the way the Robosa operated, causing them to require Shadow alongside electricity. Stampy mentions the Shadow being evicted from the Raposa realm in 2008, casually stating that "we’ve been Shadow free for five years now." Lock corrects him by saying it had been almost 35 years, and Stampy reveals that he travelled through time. Lock laughs and begins to inform Stampy of the events he missed.
The Robosa Suit is eventually completed, and as Lock is trying it on, Russet informs both of them that visitors were there for them. Stampy and Lock go to Russet's meeting room and find Milfre, Kamalah, Jowee, Willham, and Shadow Mari waiting for them. Stampy and Milfre embrace after thinking the other had died, and Stampy stays by Milfre's side as she takes a survey of the powers in the room. Lock runs off to get his suit at one point, and calls Stampy to help him. Stampy runs into the room, helping Lock put on the Robosa suit, and the two return to the meeting room. Stampy announces them using their superhero names, and the group enters the Time Machine, leaving for 2007.
Vs. Salem Rose
When they arrive at the Village Bridge, they come face to face with Salem Rose and Robigo. After Milfre tries to reason with Salem Rose and he attacks her, Stampy, Lock, Jowee, and Willham team up to fight him. Stampy and Lock fight together, using a combination of the Robosa Suit and Ink to take him down. Eventually, after Salem Rose is distracted by Jowee, Stampy and Lock take hold on Salem Rose and prepare to kill him. However, using the power of the Galactic Jungle Orb, Salem Rose uses the grass to rip Stampy off of the Robosa Suit. When Stampy rejoins the fight, he sees Robigo, Kamalah, and Lock firing a constant stream of attack towards Salem Rose, so Stampy follows suit with his Ink. They unknowingly give the Ruby Earring enough power to release a blast of energy that destroys the Time Machines and knock Stampy unconscious.
Returning Home
When he wakes up, he finds himself in the Developer's Grove, and tells Joe that he his from 2013. Milfre promises that Kamalah would make them another time machine so that they could visit. After saying his final goodbyes to Milfre, she kisses him, causing him to become incredibly flustered. He falls backwards into the well and returns home. By 2042, Stampy has become the owner of Isaac's Shop, and one day, Milfre comes in to see him. He scares her by pointing a red pen at her with a crudely drawn image of herself. The two laugh, and Stampy takes Milfre to Tubba's Restaurant, finally treating her to lunch.
