Pirate Beard is a stereotypical pirate Raposa that appears throughout the Drawn to Life Series.

Pirate Beard is an adult male grey furred Raposa. He wears a light brown pirate hat and a red bandana on his head. He appears to wear a yellow earring in each of his ears. He wears a yellow shirt along with a dark grey vest and matching pants.

In the Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii) however, he has orange fur, a golden pirate hat, and dark red attire.

Drawn to Life

After being rescued in Conch Ruins, he arrives in Rapoville with his crew to begin plundering the Raposa. The Mayor promises them a ship if they don't attack anyone. The pirates agree and live in their new home. Later on, Pirate Beard announces a treasure hunt around the world which the villagers can choose to come on. Indee decides to join the crew, and Jowee initially decides to join as well. However, he ultimatley chooses to stay in Rapoville with Mari.

Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii)

This Section of Pirate Beard Contains Non-Canon Content!

In Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), Pirate Beard helps the player throughout the game, mainly while navigating Jangala Falls, Treetop Village, and Tundara.

In Jangala, he tells the Hero and Jowee that he lost his map over Jangala Falls, and with it, the location of the Monkey King. After Jowee and the Hero retrieve the map, Pirate Beard shows them the location of the Monkey King and sends them off to Treetop Village.

Later in the game, Mari tells Jowee and the Hero to ask Pirate Beard about the Icy Wastes. He tells the two that the Wastes are dangerous and without something sharp, they'll never be able to make it through the area.

Challenges

Throughout the game, certain Raposa will give the Hero certain challenges to complete. Pirate Beard offers the Hero time trials for six specific levels. The specific challenges are show below:

Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter

In Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, Pirate Beard is one of the few Raposa not to be kidnapped by Wilfre's portals. He attempts to save the villagers by taking them to his ship, but when they arrive at the Docks, Pirate Beard fins that his ship was stolen. The Creator soon sends Turtle Rock to collect the Raposa and take them on a voyage around the world to restore color and rescue the kidnapped Heather. Pirate Beard decides to captain Turtle Rock during this voyage and is the one who guides the ship to the four different islands.

Drawn to Life: Two Realms

Four years later, Pirate Beard told Indee and Unagi that they could not use his ship, and the three resolved to simply waste the day away with excessive sleeping and eating. Mari asks the Hero to help fix their laziness, so using the Book of Imagination, the Hero reinvigorates Pirate Beard. At the end of the game, the three of them set sail on an adventure.

–Level Description


Pirate Beard's Imagination Battle in Drawn to Life: Two Realms is named Landlubber's Lament. It is the twelfth story level in the game, has three segments, and requires the player to have earned 9 stars. After Aly is possessed by Shadow, Mike rejects the Hero, who returns to Rapoville and is sent around the village to help some lazy villagers. Pirate Beard refuses to let Indee and Unagi use his ship, and the Hero decides to help him.

Build Mode

In Build Mode, the player is given a Cactus Baki, a Bounce, and a Spiky Stan. One possible solution is to place the Bounce on the small platform, the Spiky Stan in the gap between the rightmost platforms, and the Cactus Baki directly in front of the Hero.
